(i)REGULAR MEMBERSHIP (CLOSED SINCE 2019) Regular Membership is further divided into 5 sub-categories:-

a) Local Member- Member residing in Delhi/NCR is considered
as a local member.

b) Outstation Member- Member Residing outside Delhi/NCR is
considered as outstation member.

c) Life Time Member- Members can exercise this option by
paying one-time lifetime subscriptions as per their Age Block Table approved by
Executive Committee.For outstation,Life time membership, member will submit copy of
PPO, and Aadhar Card.

- d) Spouse Member- On the demise of the member, the spouse is entitles
to membership till he/she is alive by submission of application along with death
certificate of the member within one year in Admin, Section in CSOI Vinay Marg. No
dependent cards are entitled. Full subscription will be paid and voting rights are
denied to this category.
- e) Exempted Member- After attaining the age of 75 years
and 20 years of membership with CSOI,the member is exempted from paying the annual
subscription w.e.f. the succeeding year.

- 100 Tenure Memberships (AIS), slots on a first come first served basis not exceeding 100 for All India service officers (IAS, IPS, IFS) who are on a fixed Tenure central deputation against any post in the Delhi/NCR for a period of 5 years and maximum for 7 years on the basis of tenure extension.
- 200 Tenure Membership (CSS) slots to be restricted for officers posted as Deputy Secretary and above under the central staffing scheme (under CSS), for a period of 5 years and maximum for 7 years on the basis of tenure extension.
- 300 Temporary Tenure Membership slots not exceeding 300, for officers of the level of Director and above, currently posted in Delhi/NCR under the Central Government, who are otherwise eligible for the membership of CSOI, but are unable to get the Membership due to rush of application etc. Such Membership may be granted on a first come first served basis and be limited to a period of 3 years, However, these Members would be eligible for re-induction under this category after a cooling- off period of one year, provided vacancy exists within the ceiling of 300. In case of renewal of membership, the admission fee as applicable to tenure members will be charged afresh.

a). Application to be forwarded to the General Manager, CSOI by the Officer seeking
Tenure Membership with his present posting order for central deputation, a copy
of
latest pay slip along with relieving and joining order.

b). Application will be forwarded by CSOI for Approval of the Working Committee.

c). On approval an email for grant of Tenure Membership will be issued for
necessary
payments be made in the administrative section of CSOI.

d). They will have to pay normal subscription but will not enjoy voting
rights.

Annual subscription will be paid by the member in advance for the ensuing year by 31st March. Thereafter, late fee will charge till 30th September. If a member does not pay annual subscription by 30th September, the membership will be suspended and restoration will be subject to approval of the Competent Authority of CSOI.
Annual subscription @ Rs.6000/- plus GST 18% payable by 31st March of the year preceding the financial year to which it relates.

Note* if payment is not made after two financial years the name of the member goes into the termination list, and after that member can apply for fresh membership and if approved then officer pays the fresh membership charges along with outstanding dues. |
